Abstract
Rapid technological transformation has reshaped contemporary societies, generating complex moral and epistemological challenges that extend beyond the scope of classical Islamic jurisprudence. Artificial intelligence, algorithmic governance, and digital infrastructures increasingly mediate human decision-making, raising questions about the adequacy of traditional fiqh in addressing post-digital ethical realities. Islamic moral reasoning is therefore confronted with the necessity of adapting to post-secular conditions where religion re-enters public rationality in dialogue with technological systems. This study aims to reconstruct Islamic moral reasoning through the conceptual framework of post-secular fiqh in technological societies. A qualitative, interpretive methodology is employed, utilizing systematic literature analysis and conceptual synthesis across Islamic jurisprudence, philosophy of technology, and post-secular theory. Findings indicate a strong dominance of classical fiqh and maq??id-based reasoning, while integration with technological ethics remains limited and fragmented. Results further demonstrate that algorithmic systems embed normative assumptions that challenge claims of neutrality and redistribute moral responsibility from human agents to computational systems. The study concludes that post-secular fiqh offers a necessary epistemological framework for bridging Islamic moral reasoning with contemporary technological realities, enabling a more adaptive, justice-oriented, and context-sensitive approach to ethical governance in digital societies.
