Journal of Selvicoltura Asean is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes scientific articles primarily, but not limited to, the area of forestry. Journal of Selvicoltura Asean focuses on all dimensions of forest management, including but not limited to planning, conservation, silviculture, socioeconomics, and the utilization of forest resources, with a particular focus on the tropical forests of Asia — as detailed in our Focus and Scope. We are also eager to include contributions from other geographical scopes, provided they convincingly demonstrate critical significance to the concerns affecting Asia's forested landscape.

The journal serves primarily as a medium for disseminating original theoretical and experimental research, as well as technical reviews. Journal of Selvicoltura Asean does not publish articles that have appeared elsewhere or that are concurrently submitted to, or already under consideration by, another journal. Submitted papers must be written in English.
